Wedding Bliss

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

It is in June when the strains of Wagner’s ‘Here Comes the Bride’ and Mendelssohn’s ‘Wedding March’ are frequently heard.

Folklore has it that June is the favorite wedding month because it is named after Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage and those who get married at this time will enjoy happiness and prosperity for as long as they live.

There’s another historical bit, naughty and likeable. In the 15th and 16th centuries, those in the Western world took a bath only once a year, in May which was designated bath month. Thereafter, many festivals including weddings were held in June when everyone smelt clean.

Among our superstitious ancestors, this popular rhyme served to remind the bride on what to expect if she got married on any day of the week and it goes like this:

Marry on Monday for health,
Tuesday for wealth,
Wednesday the best day of all,
Thursday for crosses,
Friday for losses, and
Saturday for no luck at all.
The Sabbath day was out of the question.

Fast forward to the digital age where any day is a good day to get married, including Sundays. The marrying season also begets many expressions of Like and Unlike – similar to Facebook – for wedding presents among friends and relatives.

Here are ‘his’ and ‘hers’ gift suggestions in many categories which the about-to-weds will love receiving especially if it’s from you.
If you like one or more of these suggestions, add them to your shopping cart, leave instructions to the courier where to deliver it (within 7 days, they will). You wouldn’t want to be seen backpacking the wedding gift, especially if it’s a huge one, to the church and the reception.

We have a Facebook page you can follow…if you want to be inspired by the latest in young fashion, gadgets, signature perfumes and health.

Dad

Thursday, June 17, 2010

1972 was the year that saw breakthroughs in science and technology – the start of the space shuttle program in the US, programming languages, calculator, the first cable subscription service (HBO), video games.

Prominent among these major tech events – well, to the majority of us now basking in the computing world - was being able to communicate with each other through the computer and the beginnings of the Internet (known at that time as Arpanet).

1972 was also the year that Father’s Day was proclaimed a national holiday by former US President Nixon, although six years before that another former US President (Lyndon Johnson) had declared the 3rd Sunday of June to be Father’s Day.

The event’s legitimization as a holiday in the US happened after 100 years of lobbying by civic, trade and church groups to honor all fathers – not just mothers - on a special day. It has since then spawned yearly celebrations across the world that even the corporate world never missed observing because it touched an emotional chord in every man, woman and child.

We all have to thank Sonora Dodd of Washington who in 1909, came up with the idea of celebrating Father’s Day, as a tribute to her dad and all dads. You see, when she was only 16, Sonora’s mom died and her father – a Civil War veteran – took care of all his six children. Not much has changed 100 years ago. There is a Sonora in all of us who will try to find many ways to kick off Father’s Day celebration.

As we get closer to D Day, why not make use of the global info flowing freely through the Internet into our computers to help us decide correctly and quickly what we can do for our Dads.

Treating him to dinner, buying him personalized Happy Father’s Day gifts, looking for the best iPAD deals or arranging a surprise delivery of a stationary bike that will keep him fit, may just bring one or two happy tears to his eyes, the man we all know will stand by his family for life.

Back to school

Thursday, May 27, 2010

The clock’s ticking. Three weeks from now, about 23 million students and half-a-million teachers will troop back to school.

In the meantime, bedlam reigns in Divisoria, Recto, airconditioned malls and bookstores as shoppers scramble for branded and unbranded school supplies and uniforms. It’s back-to-school sales season, dearies!

The ever vigilant Department of Trade and Industry has warned buyers to check labels for quality assurance because cheaper school items could contain harmful chemicals that cause cancer.

It’s easy to fall victim to these back-to-school promos, but having been alerted by the DTI already, it wouldn’t hurt shoppers really to stay away from substandard materials. And from pickpockets also.
Having said that, the back-to-school selling fever is still on a high roll. To those whose shopping isn’t completely over yet, you can avoid the traffic jams made worse by the blazing summer heat by shopping online.

There are no flea-market prices here, meaning you may pay a teeny weeny bit more for the items on SMilDS e-mall, but spending for quality items that are safe and last long shouldn’t be compromised.

The speed and convenience you experience when shopping on the Internet – can’t be quantified. No more elbow-pushing as you find your way to the cash registers or having your bags snatched away before you could even cry Help, I’ve been robbed.

Your Internet purchases will be delivered to where you want them brought by courier companies that respect delivery deadlines and whose crews have been trained on road safety procedures.

Just think simple, happy thoughts. Like, on the first day of school, the children are ready with their new uniforms, bags, textbooks, lunchboxes. With no allergy signs whatsoever.

A geeky daughter writes to mom

Thursday, May 6, 2010

   Hi Ma,

I’m making two hard copies of this which on the morning

of May 10, I’ll stick on the ref door, and next to the kitchen

        sink, beside your favorite mug.

I’m not sure you’ll read this on your e-mail which I set up for you

on your birthday five months ago, because you haven’t replied to

the two e-mails I sent you since then. This is my 3rd email to you.

I’m pretty certain also you won’t see this letter in my blog where

I’m publishing it. My classmates are doing ‘Dear Mom’ letters for

their blogs too. It’s our summer multimedia arts class project and

I want my group where I was elected historian to win. But I’m

  digressing.

In her last e-mail to me, Ate said you don’t buy anything for

yourself anymore, even if you spend Friday evenings and the

whole afternoon of Saturdays at the crowded shopping malls and

tiangges looking for bargains and discounts. Your ‘buys’ are

always for Ate, me and the pantry.

Anytime on Monday, a package for you will be delivered by red-

shirted men. Of course having read this letter, by the time their

red truck arrives, you’d already be expecting them.

Don’t worry, I’ve enough money left for our three-week stay in

Shenzen to shoot the docu on online shopping among the

Chinese that I told you about.

I’ve been saving up in the last 5 months for something for you.

I’ve been regularly comparing prices and “window-shopping” on

     the Internet.

Good thing, the online stores I tail on the Internet are offering

discounts in celebration of Mother’s Day. Didn’t have the time to

       go to the malls.

I’ll see you in three weeks. Meantime, hope you like the

            ohmygosh items.

Thank you for being Mother to Ate and me.

                                                                              See ya!

                                                                                   Ningning

Trust us, we make shopping safe and convenient for you

Wednesday, May 5, 2010

230 shops selling over 2,000 products on our SMilDS e-mall.

Fashion and Apparel, Gifts & Novelty Items, Toys and

Hobbies
, Books and Comics, Consumer Electronics. If you’re into Beauty and Personal Care, that too. And we’ve been in business for 10 months only.

If you haven't made a purchase yet over the Internet, it's time to join the online shopping bandwagon.

To begin with, there are about 1.5 billion (could be more) net shoppers from around the world. The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, in their March 2010 report, said those who use the Internet in developing countries most likely have shopped online like those in developed economies.

Quoting from the ITIF report, “63 percent of Latin Americans and 70 percent of those in the Asia Pacific region have made at least one purchase online, compared to 85 percent of Internet users in both North America and Europe."

According to a recent Mastercard Worldwide survey, 78% of the e-shoppers surveyed in 14 countries in 2009 found buying over the Internet suits them better.

They must have found their nirvana. Like time and convenience.

Web stores are the ideal sites to look for the best buys and bargains.

Unlike in shopping malls where you tire yourself moving from one end to another, you can look around online shops to compare prices from your office, living room, bedroom or kitchen without straining yourself. You just have to move that cursor and click and click. We bet those clicks won't even tire you.

Promotions and discounts happen on our site every now and then. Why? Our Pinoy merchants work hard to earn your loyalty and trust.

Now, here are easy-to-follow and safe guides to joining the online buying boom and start with us. We're Sure Seal certified.
Now, where were we? Aah yes, add to cart. This is shopping minus the stress, traffic and the crowd. Cheers!

You always online? Make money from it then

Thursday, April 22, 2010

If you are someone who can’t get by the day without checking your emails, updating your FB status and becoming a fan of this and that page/group, sending tweets and gaining followers every day, congratulations!

You have a big community of friends, fans and followers you can now tap for an online business you can set up if you want extra income. Yes, the power of the Internet and social media can’t be overlooked.

Two Internet entrepreneurs teamed up the second time as main speakers at the second Make Money 2.0 seminar which was held to teach how-to-make-money techniques over the Internet. The first seminar took place last February 13.

E-commerce advocate Janette Toral and social media /Internet marketing evangelist Carlo Ople,  also the event’s organizer,  spoke before 30 attendees eager to learn how they can monetize their time on the Internet, part-time or full time. Both, said the two.

And seconded  by the seminar’s Gold sponsor SMilDS.com, the brand behind the country’s first online mall where 230 online retailers sell over 2,000 products. (In bricks-and-mortars, this is similar to Tutuban Mall in Divisoria and its retailers).

Their key take-away lessons are passion and commitment to be in it for the long haul.  Plus the boldness  to create your own niche that is underserved or profitable.  Social media is at your disposal, within a mouse’s click, to promote yourself (others call it personal branding) and your products - a web store, most likely?  Get yourself at the top of the radar because advertisers – from whom you will get your blogging earnings – put their campaigns on the right traffic.

Blog by all means, because the market size is worth PhP952.7 million, says Janette.  One blogger recently said that some earn PhP2K to PhP5K a month while those who earn PhP200 a month make up 96 percent of the blogging community.  It is said there are 500 bloggers earning at least PhP9k monthly but are quiet about it.

Link with a competitor on a niche value where you share a common interest.  Carlo and Janette are best examples of this. They blog, publish e-books, lecture at industry associations, and team up on activities they like, such as this seminar.

But if you're more bent towards selling but don't have a website, call Platform2u.com at +632-886-6190 and +632-403-2303.

At a minimum price (it’s like indulging yourself with your fave frapuccino once or twice a day) which you can pay on installments, the SMilDS.com eco-system guarantees you a functional e-commerce website.

Integrated into its system are different logistics and payment providers like …. (take a breath here, the list is long) credit and ATM cards, GCash, SMART Money, SMilDS Visa Card, LBC, DHL, DelBros, Xend.

Because the site is Sure Seal certified (you can’t miss the seal), all transactions are secure and remain private.  SMilDS.com training officer Chris Santos says their eco-system makes buying, selling and paying online easy, fast and safe.

Ride on the Internet wave to realize your dream of owning your business and having the website to promote it, he says.  Ask Carlo also. His web store runs on the SMilDS.com platform.

Calling hobbyists, parents, freelancers, full and part-time workers, the jobless.  Blogging, e-lancing, online selling - - they’re your money-making ventures using the Internet.

A healthy, stylish guide to a scorching summer

Thursday, April 8, 2010

Summer beckons.

We all love summer, well most of us. We associate summer with holidays, romps in the beaches, trekking the countryside, camping in the wilds (for the adventurous).

For the kids and the tweens pleading for summer breaks up north near the South China Seas but whose moms and pops cannot leave work , summer can also mean having fun in the neighborhood pool and unlimited googling and chatting at Internet cafes.

But summer, lest we forget, can be cruel. It means the blistering sun. The sun, plainly speaking, scorches and dehydrates. Puts us all in a strain, constantly worrying about the sun's ageing effects on our skin.

So before running out of the house for that coveted beach holiday in celebrities-teeming Bora, in surf-paradise Pagudpud, or communing with nature (never mind insect bites, LOL), make a list of practical to-dos on your pre-holiday shopping sprees.

Beach accessories  Fashionista, metrosexual, ubersexual. Whatever. You must be tired of that flower-patterned kaftan which BFF says is so oldies or that sunglass which makes you look like a bumblee. There are wide-ranging protective sea holiday accents like a nifty kimono, aqua goggles, designer sunglasses, wonder optics, beach hats, aquatic shoes, beach sandals. Put them on. You never know, they could make you look like Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Siobhan Magnus or David Beckham (ooh-la-la).

Skin and dehydration protection Of course, Mom and Pop are good-lookers but do you want to have their crows feet and pucker lines on your forehead? Throw into that tote bag the sun creams, sun blocks, skin gels and lotions. They will make you look good and silky. Oh, and add those vitamins, health supplements, green teas, health juices, antioxidants, ice compress, pain medications, anti-itch creams, baking soda, vinegar (yes, they’re good for jellyfish stings). We’re not kidding. We don't want to spoil your summer gig. Good health is beauty, or is it the other way round?

So, peeps, have fun frolicking in the sun. But stay healthy and stylish. Happy shopping! Go!

Make a smart move, sell online

Monday, March 29, 2010

Remember Bill Murray’s Oscar-nominated role in “Lost in Translation” where he played a semi-retired movie star past his prime still looking for meaning in his life?

Many Gen-Xers and baby boomers can identify with his character’s mid-life crisis, made more poignant by the 2007 global financial meltdown that caused more than 2.5 million job losses in 2008 in the US. As of February 2010, there are 14.9 million unemployed persons in the US.

Top officials from Easy Pha-Max Philippines and Platform2u.com Philippines went to the US last March 3 for an eight-day business meeting with their US partners and potential agents to discuss the limitless opportunities that an online business can offer to anyone in all ages, to any generation.

“Our US trip was multiple-fold, forming the core business development, marketing and operations team for our US operation, introducing new hopes and offering the perfect passive income to Americans,” said Platform2u.com CIO Eddie Lee.

Edward Ling, CEO of Easy Pha-max Philippines and Platform2u.com Philippines, revealed that Platform2u.com US will take off in a big wave within this year, providing the 4th generation e-commerce solution to anyone who wish to sell products on the Internet and will need help in building a web store.

To millions of unemployed and underemployed Americans looking for job opportunities or setting up their own business, there goes the answer to your hopes. Jump into e-commerce.

Online selling will be a good move because the Internet environment is already a given factor for success. Take social media for example. There are more than 350 million Facebook users around the world and as of last January, they spent an average of seven hours on site. In the US, there are 102.6 million Facebookers (and 8.8 million in the Philippines). A very large market waiting to be tapped.

It is safe to assume that new web store owners can rely on instant word-of-mouth promotion among their Facebook friends and fans. Or if they’re not yet on the social media zone, they can rely on their circle of family, friends, colleagues who tweet, plurk, or FB to help push “add to cart”. Eddie Lee said Americans who are eager to get back to work will always find imaginative ways to make an online selling business successful.

The US office will be the fourth company established outside of the Malaysian headquarters of Platform2u.com Berhad. The company has built a strong reputation for its end-to-end e-commerce platform, called SMilDS.com, that small to medium enterprises can use in building their online businesses and trading in the global marketplace. The Malaysian Government awarded the company a MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor) status for its innovative research and development e-commerce initiatives.

Edward Ling is confident of meeting their US growth target because the company is ready to embrace the changes that will happen in the IT environment in the next two years.

The Philippine office will develop the information systems development cycle of the US operations. This earns Platform2u.com Philippines the moniker of “Center of Excellence.”

SMEs, freelancers can earn extra income from the Internet

Friday, February 26, 2010

Two companies advocating the use of e-commerce in the country, Platform2u.com Phils. Inc. and Catalyst Interactive, signed a Memorandum of Agreement in which they will help small to medium entrepreneurs, even consumers, start their business on the Internet.

Platform2u.com Phils.Inc. is the developer of SMilDS.com, a fourth generation e-commerce platform while Catalyst Interactive is an Internet branding and promotions agency providing services for online campaigns.

The MOA signing preceded the “Make Money 2.0” seminar that began on February 13. Two more seminars will take place until March at the Astoria Plaza Hotel, Ortigas central business district. Organized by Catalyst Interactive CEO Carlo Ople and with SMilDS.com as Gold sponsor, the seminars are being held to teach practical money-making tips on the Internet to students, freelancers and micro-entrepreneurs.

Photo shows SMilDS.com COO Edgar Canlas (right) and Catalyst Interactive CEO Carlo Ople (left) signing the MOA that sealed their collaboration in promoting e-commerce in the country. Witnessing the signing is Edward Ling (center), CEO of Platform2u.com Phils. Inc.

Speakers invited to the first seminar were Edgar Canlas (SMilDS.com COO), e-commerce maven Janette Toral, Abe Olandres, Jayvee Fernandez and Kevin Codamon, who have all become successful Internet entrepreneurs. They discussed the merits of generating income from the Internet through online selling, blogging, writing, web designing, community building.

In his welcome speech, Platform2u.com Phils. CEO Edward Ling described the partnership as meaningful and strategic because both companies will promote entrepreneurship among Filipinos by drawing from their respective expertise in deploying businesses on the Internet.

The development of the SMilDS.com e-commerce platform,in particular, was meant to help bring small and medium businesses to a more organized manner into the world of enterprise. He said SMilDS.com will help bridge the e-commerce divide in the country. In 2009, it was reported that only four percent of the 25 million Internet users in the Philippines buy online.

Edgar Canlas explained that online selling, having a complete e-commerce solution, and having an e-shopping mall to promote websites present limitless earning opportunities for online retailers because the Internet is the biggest market.

User-friendly, SMilDS.com’s merchant back-office is equipped with a customer relationship management system, e-payment and e-logistics processing, and content management system whose do-it-yourself features makes it easy for owners to embed flash animation and YouTube videos, put up contests and other promotions on their sites. The software has unique features that are firsts of its kind in the global market -- the seven-day escrow payment model and the cross-selling trading engine that allows a webstore owner to sell products of other merchants and earn commissions.

Since its launch in July 2009, SMilDS.com online mall now has 160 merchants selling 1,931 products.

SMilDS.com has three packs – Lite, Full and Enterprise. Interested self-starting capitalists can call 836-1329 or 217-7289 for additional information.

Web developers learn social e-commerce trends from SMilDS.com

Community networking can be empowering if you are looking for anything that will ease the stress of work, of school, or soliciting help from companies to get an important project off the ground.

WebGeek Philippines, a new online community of web specialists and enthusiasts, was one group which needed corporate assistance to launch its first ever web design and programming competition billed as “Web and IT Summit 2009.” SMilDS.com, the brand behind the first online mall in the Philippines, agreed to be a major sponsor.

In his presentation before 30 students, SMilDS.com business development and training officer Christopher Santos emphasized that community or social networking is a great business enabler when applied on the Web.

SMilDS.com, he explained, is the first social e-commerce platform to be introduced in the international market, including the Philippines.

The e-commerce software is a complete electronic retailing platform that includes website development and customization, merchant registration and activation, customer relationship management, payment and logistics management, portal, education and training.

The software’s unique and  innovative feature is its intelligent e-trading engine which facilitates SMilDS.com online merchants to promote not only their own products on their webstore, but also the merchandise of other online store owners on the marketplace and sell it.

Cross-selling and up-selling each others’ products and services are effective sales/marketing strategies that can drive additional traffic to one’s website. It can pique the interest of unique visitors coming to the webstore and make them visit the website again. Repeated visits frequently lead to “pay and click”.

WebGeek Philippines president John Arce thanked SMilDS.com for their support of the campus-wide event and for sharing their knowledge on web development trends and on fully integrated e-commerce platforms that make buying and selling on the Internet safe and easy to do.

Mr. Arce endorsed the software to the students, many of them eager to start freelancing as web designers and developers. AMA University’s current student population stands at 150,000.

Other lecturers invited to the WebGeek IT Summit were Jonas delos Reyes of Yahoo!Southeast Asia, Jay Fajardo of ProudCloud, Joomla Campus of Tour Philippines, Jhondie Abenza of Joomla User Group and e-commerce advocate Janette Toral of DigitalFilipino Club.

SMilDS.com makes a mark in the 2009 DigitalFilipino e-Commerce Summit

Newcomer SMilDS.com joined the ranks of the long-established IT companies in the Philippines when it signed up as a major sponsor at the 2009 DigitalFilipino e-Commerce Summit and Web Awards.

Held at the Hotel Intercontinental on 12-13 November 2009, the e-commerce summit was organized by Janette Toral, one of the country's widely-known and respected IT and e-commerce evangelists.

The annually held summit is among the most awaited technology events among the more than 100 members of the DigitalFilipino Club, even to non-club members who are IT professionals and enthusiasts. It highlights best practices by website owners and it promotes the use of e-commerce and the Internet in business development.

A total of 31 websites were declared winners in the Web Awards, representing interesting categories like blogs, food, automotive, travel, gifts, games, government, music/movie, newspaper, telecoms, restaurant, among others.

Three executives from Platform2u.com Phils. Inc, the company that developed SMilDS.com, the fourth generation e-commerce software used by 618 online retailers in the country, Hong Kong and Malaysia, gave a 45-minute presentation on how they can help bridge the e-commerce divide in the Philippines.

CEO Edward Ling, COO Edgar Canlas and CIO Eddie Lee urged summit attendees to seize the opportunity of starting their online businesses,or bringing their current business to the Internet, because of the huge purchasing power of today’s generation Y (and Internet-savvy) consumers who are slowly taking over the 40+ year-old consumers.

According to the officials, there were 24 million netizens in the Philippines last year. This number will grow to 28 million when 2010 ends. By 2012, there will be 40 million Internet users and total e-commerce transaction value is projected at PhP20 billion. Nearly 32 million Internet users below 30 years old have purchasing power. Retailers are expected to know this but those thinking of starting a business are assured of a good start in online selling.

The SMilDS.com platform, according to the officials, was designed for easy use. As long as one knows basic Microsoft Office applications, anyone who wants to earn an extra income can run an online store.

Embedded in the SMilDS.com system are tools for website design and development, automated payment and logistics processing, customer relations management. In addition, the SMilDS.com business team conducts training on back-office functions for merchant-partners. The software’s intelligent e-trading engine allows retailers to sell products of other online sellers where they earn commissions agreed between them.

COO Edgar Canlas said the cross-selling engine generates additional traffic to retailers’ websites because buyers from all over the world always want to compare products and prices, eventually leading to sales.

The company which is yet to celebrate its first anniversary in June this year, is making big inroads in the e-commerce industry. The SmilDS.com/ph online mall has 160 merchants selling almost 2,000 items ranging from toys, digital gadgets, clothes and accessories, beauty and personal care, books.

CEO Edward Ling said only about 10 percent of Internet users buy online in the country.  SMilDS.com is determined to raise that number this year.

When you sell online, the world becomes your buyer

Thursday, February 25, 2010

About 160 online retailers in the Philippines selling almost 2,000 assorted merchandise are now populating an online mall – the first in the country – hosted by SMilDS.com (http://smilds.com/ph), the flagship product of  Platform2u.com, Asia Pacific’s leading e-commerce platform company. And this is happening after only seven months of opening its Philippine operations.

Platform2u.com Phils.Inc. began operations on 4 July 2009 and the following month, it introduced into the local market its 4th generation social e-commerce platform called SMilDS.com.

At the July launch, Platform2u.com Phils. Inc. chief executive officer Edward Ling announced that the company is committed to helping the Philippine e-commerce sector rise from ground zero.

According to a National Statistics Office (NSO) survey on information and communication technology use,32.4 percent e-commerce transactions were recorded in 2009 or just a third of businesses in the country benefited from e-commerce.

Platform2u.com CIO Eddie Lee said the e-commerce sector recorded only PhP5 billion (US$100 million) transactions in 2009.

Edward Ling nevertheless has tremendous hopes in the future of e-commerce in the Philippines, citing the growth of Filipino Internet users to 28 million in 2009 where 83 percent of them are below 29 years old. In 2000, there were only 1 million Filipino Internet users. These 28 million Filipino netizens are part of the global 1.5 billion Internet users who contributed to US$200 billion e-commerce transactions worldwide.

Mr. Ling urged small and medium entrepreneurs to start their businesses and put it on the web. According to him, the Philippines is a very important base upon which to launch the company's flagship product, SMilDS.com. It is in e-commerce where he smells the path to a successful and profitable business.

Microentrepreneurs and large establishments will find a useful tool in the complete e-commerce solution because it will help them build and design an online store in less than a day and start their e-commerce business immediately.

SMilDS.com is available in three packs – Lite, Full and Enterprise – at the cost of having one or two coffee frapps a day.

The SMilDS.com eco-system includes website set up and design tools, portal, customer relations management system, inventory system, payment gateway, logistics management, traffic generator, education and training and global business network.

A unique feature in the software is it can accommodate cross selling where the webstore owner can also sell products of other merchants, earn commissions, increase sales transactions and have buyers from all over the world as potential customers.

Platform2u.com Phils., Inc. chief operating officer Edgar Canlas described this cross-sell function as social e-commerce, where networking (Filipinos are very good at it) is being harnessed into the Internet. He referred to online retailing as an excellent business model because it gives any budding netpreneur a big push towards competing in the global marketplace.

Edgar Canlas and Eddie Lee said that online retailers who take the e-commerce plunge and sell their products on the SMilDS.com e-mall,will -- sooner than they realize -- be competing with other online retailers from around the world, for the attention and purchasing power of the Internet world, the third largest populated domain, after China and India.

There is nothing more personally fulfilling than being able to tell friends and potential customers that they can look at your product catalogue on your website and buy from your webstore, anytime at their convenience 24x7.

The company will soon mark its first anniversary in June 2010. Mr. Ling and Mr. Canlas have one definitive goal and that is to make SMilDS.com the country’s first and largest e-shopping website.

SMilDS.com’s social e-commerce platform is another promising channel for empowering the microentrepreneur and on a national level, make Philippine e-commerce rise from ground zero.
